View Larger Somebody forgot to feed them this morning. I rang the dinner bell and they came out of the corners in a split second to fill their gullets with Meow Mix.
Lately I’ve been thinking this whole world seems too hard
And I’d be better off to undo everything

View Larger Goslings are just about the only things I like about Spring. I look forward to hatching every year.
I think the larger issue here is the woman whose face looks like the burnt crust of a slice of toast. I’m surprised it hasn’t fallen off yet.
It’s like smoking. You know it’s bad for you, but some people still insist on doing it. It’ll never go away because it brings in so much revenue.

View Larger When I see people who get all these surgeries to look perfect, I think of all the young adult literature that has been published about these societies where people want to be perfect and place importance on material wealth and their appearance. This particular squirrel reminds me of Scott Westerfeld’s series The Uglies where everyone gets surgery to be “perfect” at age sixteen. The “pretties,” or, those who have had the surgery, have these eyes that haunt you.
Well, this woman looks exactly how I imagined these people in the novels. AND the kicker is she got a bunch of surgeries to look like that.

This moment is truly the story of my life. The entire time I was in CCD, I had no idea what was going on. I just answered everything with “Jesus” and “God.” When we had to recite prayers, I just mouthed along with the others…not really knowing anything. Honestly, all my memories of church and CCD as a child are foggy. I seriously never paid attention.
